		<description>While I can appreciate the fact that Bryan&#039;s people were in Texas prior to it becoming a Republic, if they indeed arrived in the 1830&#039;s, they would have missed the ouster of Spanish rule.  That occurred in 1820-21 .. years before his ancestors arrived.  The links you posted even support this.</description>
